Man vs Soul directed by Jashandeep Singh

What did Jashandeep Singh say about his film?
Man vs. Soul is an experimental short film that portrays the adverse effects of the content being consumed by humans on a daily basis. In this digital age, we are being bombarded with information 24/7. From social media to news, and from reality television to real-world wars, our brains are continuously processing varied information, data, opinions, thoughts, and views. What we do not realize is that our soul feels burdened by this never-ending consumption and starts to suffer.
It wants to break free from this cycle and live peacefully. This is the idea that we have tried to portray in the film in an avant-garde form, where one actor plays the man, who is busy consuming things (literally and metaphorically), and the other is the soul, who is dancing with the man’s breath while longing to fly out. Who wins in this tussle between human and soul forms the premise of the film.
