To The Selection Committee Dear Members of the Selection Committee, It is with great pride that we present “ITI: The Beginning”, written and directed by Abhishake De Sarkar. The film explores the emotional reality of a modern urban family, where ambition slowly distances parents from their young daughter, Iti. When she is diagnosed with a neurological condition, they are forced to confront the cost of their choices. More than a story, the film is a reflection of our times—questioning the true price of success. Rooted in cinematic realism and subtle storytelling, it carries a universal emotional resonance. “Iti,” meaning “The End,” here signifies a new beginning of realization.
