Alena and Olive are ambitious young filmmakers, pitching a film about the lack of inclusivity and recognition of diversity in white feminism. At the pitch meeting, Alena advocates for the importance of representing minorities in mainstream media without making their stories more digestible. Her partner Olive challenges the status quo to create an industry where there is equality regardless of profitability. As the pitch continues, the pair are constantly interrupted by the highly opinionated head producers, who fuel resistance and unknowingly turn a blind eye to the added struggles and limitations of diverse women.
